This highly sought after nature hasn't gone unnoticed either, with Kaine announcing his first International classes, starting in our neighbouring New Zealand and branching out to the USA in June. 

Kaine says “Often what keeps clients coming back to your salon is your own unique vibe and personality you infuse into your physical salon, but with social media being how we talk to a wider audience now, one of the biggest challenges I see salons facing is how to translate that vibe into their online presence, something gets lost in translation between the station and the screen. I look to teach anyone who comes to my classes how to bring the fun and the individuality to their socials, using hair as the tool. Not everybody will choose to follow my exact methods, so there's pieces in my classes for whatever level of engagement you're comfortable with. We team up with other professionals whether they be Make Up Artists, fellow colourists, stylists, whoever we think has something to bring to the table, to make sure our classes are always fresh”

Nat talks about why she loves having Kaine as part of our Hair Heroes team 

“I remember meeting him years ago and thinking he was one of the most physically beautiful humans I'd ever met, then he turned out to be just as beautiful on the inside. He came up at a hair expo and I can remember him wanting a selfie… which led me to begin following his career. After that every time I bumped into him it was always ME who wanted the selfie!! I've loved watching him grow and flourish, carving out his own niche and doing so in such an authentic way. That kind of authenticity is what we wanted on the team”

Kaine's signature high contrasting blondes are definitely head turners and his passion for seamless colour shows in his attention to detail during application, all of which he shares openly in his reels. He also helps to break down some of the challenges faced by stylists in hairdressing like clients not loving their hair, with teachable moments intertwined with humour, saying...

“I want to show fellow stylists that this is the reality of hairdressing. Situations with clients happen to all of us, even us big guys! Trick is to work with your client, keep your head high and trust in your craft!”
